The photographs at the exhibition were not taken at the same time. They come from different periods and series; what connects them is their atmosphere and theme. A combination of distanced, smooth, meticulously staged form and vehemence characteristic of Zielińska's works, the "wildness" of the subject, often alluding to violence and physical confrontation: drifting competitions, burning or exploding cars. The fascination with hooliganism and the attempt to control it by means of glamour refer to the classic themes of literary decadence. Following in their footsteps, Zielińska examines her own susceptibility to the classicism characteristic of contemporary society and the stereotypes that permeate its structure.
